Like the coffee. Mixed feeling about the design.Chock full o'Nuts Coffee Midtown Manhattan Medium Roast is one of the better K-Cup coffees I've tried, but I have mixed feelings about the cup design. The coffee itself is a very good medium roast. It's smooth but not too weak. What's unique about these K-Cups is that the pods are 100% compostable. That means less plastic in the environment. The only problem with the design is that there's no optimal way to store the K-Cups other than keeping them in the resealable bag they come in. Other than that, I will definitely buy this coffee again as I really enjoyed it.4Chock Full o Nuts Destroyed this Product!I use to LOVE Chock Full o Nuts SOHO. I have been enjoying this Coffee for Years!!! Then some Schmuck from Chock Full o Nuts decided that they were going to do a Complete Overhaul on this Amazing Coffee. They Changed the color of the pods from Green (Old Recipe) to Red (New Recipe). This New Recipe is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. It taste like Dirty Dishwasher Water! Not that I know what dirty dishwasher water taste like but I can imagine it is Close in Comparison! Why Fix something when it isn't broken! The original SOHO Flavor was AMAZING! Please bring the Original recipe back!!! This was the one and only coffee I would drink, unfortunately, not anymore! Now I find myself looking again for a new coffee. This isn't the first time a Coffee Company has done this, change their recipe/process for the worse! I will Never Purchase this Coffee ever again unless they bring back SOHO's Original Recipe. I am Very Disappointed! Everyone else, Please don't let this Review stop you from buying this. Only due to the Fact that everyone has different taste. This Review is obviously my Opinion and Experience.1A lovely cup o' coffee!Although I usually prefer a dark roast, this Midtown Manhattan Medium Roast was quite good!I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I actually enjoyed this coffee! I enjoyed every sip of my morning coffee!As I only drink one cup each morning, it is a cup I really look forward to..Thank goodness this blend was worth the honor, lol.Also, these pods work perfectly with my late model Keurig 2.0 which has not been the case with many others I have ordered..This review is for the "Midtown Manhattan, Medium Roast.5Does not work in ALL k-cup accepting machinesIt really does not work in all Keurig-like machines. Mine is a chefman and it's worked fabulously until these little pods. I am speculating that without a cup under the coffee-filled filter bag the water doesn't really have a chance to brew into coffee. My chefman doesn't have a cup under the pod space to let the water sit in the grinds to extract the coffee so water ends up pouring right through....clear as if from the faucet. Not cool for this coffee enthusiast. I had to cut open the bag and use the grinds in a reusable basket instead.1Not Always in Stock in the Grocery StoreThe Midtown Manhattan blend of Chock Full O Nuts Coffee is one of my favorites. Apparently, it is popular with a lot of people who live in my town, because the groceries stores are frequently out of it when I am shopping. I love that the freshness of the flavor is prolonged by a closable liner bag inside the box. Getting it delivered via subscription eliminates my problem of that empty spot on the grocery store shelf! Fantastic taste and just right to start the day!5I Only Use To Use StarbucksI love dark roast coffee and this one hits the nail on the head. Great deep flavor. All the Chock full O'Nuts pods come in an air tight sealed bag so it is always fresh tasting. Just one thing I am calling these pod as opposed to cups because they are not the traditional kcup, they have the mesh on the back. They still work great in my Keurig. However I have a cup carousel holder and these fall out of the carousel. But on the up side this may be a good thing because it makes me keep it in the original bag it came in which probably keeps the coffee fresher. Before I started using these I would only use Starbuck House Blend, French Roast & Pikes Place, now I switch it around every day including the Upper West Side.5Less bitter, more flavor ...I took a chance on this Soho Morning Mild Roast K-cup coffee, and it was a good move. This is another good one! I really don't care for the burnt over-roasted flavor of some of the more popular coffee brands, so I'm always on the look out for milder full-flavored varieties.I'd heard of Chock Full o'Nuts, saw this, and figured "why not?" It's really good -- no rough charred flavor at all, just full-bodied richer coffee. I can't say yet that it's a new favorite, but it's definitely going into the "coffee rotation": I alternate my usual favorite with several other brands, swapping new coffees in and out as the mood strikes.If you like a milder less "bitey" coffee, this might serve you well. I was impressed enough to order again.4Best coffee K-cups out there, hands down!You just can't beat this coffee. I work as a contractor for the military and for the past 18 years I have tasted plenty of coffee, most of it was too strong, too bitter and just only good for waking you up. I had a guy who worked for me some years ago used to brag about Chock Full o'Nuts all the time. He was from Brooklyn, we thought he was just proud of NY coffee, we never paid him much attention. Well I saw they made these K-cups and wanted to give them a go. WOW, I am glad I did! Best K-cup coffee I have ever had, a few other have also switched to Chock Full o'Nuts exclusively now. I can't go back to anything else now that I have had this. I used to put sugar and creamer in my coffee but honestly you just don't need it in this coffee. It's simply perfection in a cup (K-cup).5Awesome coffeeLoved this coffee and the pods are a neat design and not so much waste of plastic and I really feel the coffee brewed better. If you like the smell of fresh coffee when you open a new can or a new bag of beans you will love this coffee because the pods are kept in a thick resealable foil bag and every time I open it ....wow...... smells like I just opened a new can of coffee or a bag of beans! DEFINITELY a Dark Roast, but not a bitter dark roast, great tasting5decades and decades of consistent good tasteChock Full of nuts- Upper West Side delicious taste and a robust flavor. I can't believe this coffee was my grandfather's favorite and is now mine. Here is a coffee brand that has stood the test of time and still has the same high standards it always had. It's nice to have something in your daily life that has a consistency of good value and evokes good memories. If you can't live on the Upper West Side, you can drink it in.5
