Helps with range of motion.At 6 ft tall I need to be seated for full range of motion with this device. This Unit is keeping my shoulder moving so far. Cord material is not for long term use or weight. Rubber pads for back side of door fell off immediately. I duct taped them back on, this provides for better protection and stability on the door. Bulky for travel, I agree with other review mentioning single over the door hook may be better for travel/storage. 3Read the directions before starting !!!My wife suffers from a tear in her Rotator Cuff in her shoulder. Her therapist told her to get one of these to exercise. She refused surgery. I know this will help strengthen her muscles slowly over a long period of time. It does the job and it is not made for exercise, rather it is used as a stretching tool as part of a physical therapy routine.It is not made for a strenuous exercise routine or built to be utilized as a home gym. 4UnusableThere is no adequate instructions on how to put it together (no pictures), and when one finally has put it together, one finds that the cord is almost impossibly to adjust correctly. Was not very easy to put together, the cords are were very long so had a lot of extra cord hanging, and then rubber guards broke off upon my very first use. A normal household door not stong enough for my excersizes. Returning. 1Perfect for rotator cuff rehabilitationI had rotator cuff surgery 6 weeks ago and have had 3 physical therapy appointments to date. These exact pulleys are used at the rehabilitation facility except theirs is mounted to a wall. I like the overdoor capability because it is put in use and taken down in seconds. If your intention to use these are to support body weight, they are not strong enough for that purpose. Rehabilitation of an arm/elbow/shoulder is perfect for this device and has helped my shoulder gain improved range of motion in my at home exercises. I highly recommend using this to aide in your progress!!!! 5Great item!I have been using a device similar to this at the therapy place I had to go to. Now I can add this to my home therapy which is helping me get back to normal movement of my arm. Had it up and using it within 10 minutes. Great item for what I need it for. Surgery on my shoulder is getting farther and farther behind me. 5Great for shoulder therapy exercises at home.Perfect for PT exercises for my shoulder. The therapists kept putting me on this type of device and I decided to save myself time/money and just get one for home and not have to drive or pay for PT sessions. I asked my neighbor to help put it up (my injured shoulder doesn't allow me to raise my arms enough to put it over the door) and it is perfect! 5Great pulley, not the best designI would give this 5 stars but the cords have no place to go to be put out of the way and with kids in the house I feel this is a bit of a problem. I worry about them pulling on it or wrapping themselves up in it. Great idea, needs a place to put the handles when not in use. I am going to buy a large suction cup with a hook to put them on. In addition, this doesn't have a way to fold out of the way so when the door is opened it hits the wall. 4Clunky, not portable, not smoothThis tool is clunky and it barely goes together. For the one I have, there is no taking it apart after it is together because it is very tight. If you make a mistake and need to adjust, you will need a hammer or some serious force to get it out of the holes.When using it, isn't the smoothest operation and makes noise. Next time I would just buy a basic over the door pully that is portable. 2
