ALMOST PERFECTThese are almost perfect for me. Actually, they are 2/3 perfect. For my eyesight, I need the top to be clear with no adjustments. Perhaps that is not even possible, but the reading at bottom is excellent, the computer at mid level is also excellent. Just still have to look over top... if they gradually went clear, they'd deserve 10 STARS. Perhaps I'm being too picky, but maybe it will help someone in similar circumstances.Again, these are a nice product at a great buy.4Much better than I thought they would be!Much better than I thought they would be! After obtaining progressive glasses from a eye wear clinic, I found they did not work with computer to book to people in the room. Read the information on these and thought I would give them a try. Price was amazingly low and did not expect much. Wow, was I wrong! These are excellent. Good quality, sturdy frames. Beautiful focus areas. Now, my eye prescriptions might just be in the perfect range for these, but I can read documents and books perfectly, look up to read my computer screen in amazing focus and look across the room to talk to someone without it being blurry. Love them and saved me several hundred dollars trying to get them from the eye clinic.5Work for an emergency and not too bad otherwise.Glasses arrived on time. They look nice, as good or better than my much more expensive prescription glasses. They fit a little snugly, but not to the point of discomfort. I can always adjust the temple over the back of the ear if necessary.I'm not sure how accurate the magnification is. My prescription for glasses matches the bottom magnification level of these glasses, but these do not allow me to see as clearly up close as my prescription glasses do. For distance, though, these are great. Anything beyond about 5 feet they work great and even up close I can see, but have to strain. I don't know whether my prescription has more than the simple magnification or if the magnification is a little less than represented. I really can't say that it's these glasses that are the problem.I would purchase these again. In fact, I'm going to do some experimentation by trying on some glasses that have a slightly greater magnification and compare it to what I bought. If it turns out that I need a stronger magnification for my purposes, I'll order another pair of these with the higher magnification. I don't know how what effect that will have on my distance vision with the concomitant change to the upper sections, but I'm willing to give it a try.The price is very reasonable and these are as good for distance as my more expensive prescriptions. I may not be able to match up the distance and the close up magnifications with the limited offering, but if your vision comes close I think these glasses will at least work in an emergency.4Very poor quality in the armsThis is my second replacement of these glasses and both times the left arm of the glasses was defective. The first pair I received the arm was broken and bent, the replacement was bent and one arm was actually shorter than the other!! Stay away from these until their quality control increases. Very disappointed, this is not my first pair I purchased from foster. The first pair which was a different style fits and looks great so I decided to purchase another style so I can change glasses every once in a while but with this style it seems like foster dropped the ball when it comes to detail and quality.1Alright, but Overpriced...Pros: multiple magnifications, anti-glare coating, stylish,Cons: fragile, overpriced, lacks the tint of 'Gunnar' styled computer glasses (could be a pro for some)Bottom Line: I bought these hoping to find some 'Gunnar-Style' corrected reading glasses that would help me relieve eye strain from working on the computer all day. they are definitely stylish. The lenses, while lacking the tint of 'gaming glasses' do have a nice anti-glare coating. IF you want some computer glasses to prevent eye strain but don't want the tinted lenses, these may be an option for you. However I ended up sending mine back for a couple reasons- a) The no-line nature of the lenses made me feel like I was always looking through the wrong part of the lens where the magnification changes b) I was afraid I would break them and for $35-40 I feel they should be more rugged. c) After using non-corrected computer glasses for some time, I'm used to the amber tint which these glasses lack. All of this is subjective and I could see someone else really liking these glasses. At the end of the day, I'd probably have kept them if they were less expensive. But for my $35-40 I can get 2 or 3 pair of anti-glare titanium or memory flex glasses that will last WAY longer.3Inferior viewing quality, distortion, motion sickness - not recommended.I had high hopes for these as I am constantly needing my readers when I've set them down somewhere, and taking them on and off in meetings. The actual experience was a letdown. The clarity of these is inferior to the 3-pack glasses that I picked up at the big box store - and one pair of these cost more than 3 pairs of those. Because there's no zero magnification zone, every viewing range has a fish-eye quality, and when you add the coke-bottle fringing (lack of clarity) the end result is a headache right between the eyes. I also experienced something akin to motion sickness when turning my head while wearing these, due to the distortion. Overall the experience was worse than my fixed-magnification readers, and so I'll be sending these back.2These are the reading glasses you have been looking for.I have tried over 20 pairs of glasses on Amazon and these are the best. The multi-zone actually works. I have found 1.75 to be about the strongest strength you can while keeping the distance viewing still perfectly in focus. The 2.00 works better for me if I plan to be around the house or on the computer, but I would not recommend wearing the 2.00 to view a concert or sporting event. At 1.75, everything works perfectly. Close up objects are nice a clear and far objects remain perfectly in focus. Other muti-focus glasses suffer from ghosting images due to the way the glasses bend light, but I barely notice it with these glasses. (Something about the shape of them.)These glasses are a bit on the heavy side, but not uncomfortable at all.5I wanted to like them but...I wanted to like them, and my initial reaction to the glasses was positive, but after a few hours, the short comings became more and more apparent. The actual "reading" portion of the lens was just too small and to "low" on the lens for my liking, and the "computer" portion of the lens forced my to raise my chin up in order to effectively see my 27" IMac screen, which is about 20 inches away. The positive side is the clarity of the glasses. They are very close to "optical" quality lenses. But in the end, I sent them back. A good quality Bi-Focal from Foster Grant would interest me, but alas, I could not find such a product from them.2AwesomeYahoo, i can finally see computer. I am going through procedures on my corneas. It involves grafting and waiting to see if my body accepts the grafts. I was wearing very high progressive prescription glasses. I have Fuchs dystrophy. It finally became time for surgery. Well, 1st one on 10/13/16 went very well. I how have my distance back in one eye. But, couldn't wear my prescription glasses anymore. Surgeon said right now there is no prescription on earth for you. Be patient, it is a journey. So, I am blind as a bat. Tried many reading glasses figuring I could at least read but I have 2 different eyes now. Anyhow, long story short. I found these, ordered, able to at least read my Kindle Paperwhite on highest font. I just used them on my 32" monitor to see if the "computer" part worked. It does, not great like prescription. For those who just need a tweak, these are probably really good. For me they saved my sanity. Can't drive, couldn't read, had to put my phone to my nose (left nose prints). A bit of vision is better than none. Next surgery 12/1/2016 on other eye. Hope to have distance back.5Great value for progressive readersThese are a great value for progressive readers. I know folks that got about the same thing from there eye center for 5 times the cost or more, and they wish they had these. After lens replacement surgery due to cataracts, and to correct my nearsightedness and astigmatism, I needed reading glasses so I can read anything I can reach. After trying a few regular reading glasses of various strengths, I decided to give these multifocal glasses a try. I chose a strength suitable for my office tasks, and they work great for me. I also picked up a stronger pair for closer tasks where I need to see small details. The description may not related to you that they are progressive lenses. There are no steps or lines. The strength you order is what you get at the bottom, and it progresses to about half that at the top of the lens. Now, you'll most likely need to adjust the fit of the nose pads and the temples. I opted to replace the nose pads with some silicone ones from a big box stores vision center, and the lady there installed them and adjusted the fit.FYI, you might be able to find these and other similar readers at local stores.5
