80% as tasty as the prefilled bottles at ~20% of the cost...Ok, so we bought the three pack of Gatorade powder so we could make a two quart pitcher when we need it for sports days or just for basic hydration. We have three boys and, while water is obviously the best choice, having this as a flavored option is better than most other drink alternatives. We had historically bought a thirty pack of the 12oz (355ml) bottles at a warehouse club for about $18 and, while that was a pretty good buy, mixing our own powder works out to about 20% of the price. Granted, it is a bit less delicious as the powdered version loses some of the taste when it gets reconstituted at home (do not dare accuse me of mixing in the wrong concentration, I am a pharmacist so by-golly I know how to make a solution!!), but for the cost savings and plastic bottle savings it is a worthwhile trade-off. The three containers are each a different flavor and they make eighteen gallons all together, which comes out to thirty-six two quart pitchers; plenty to last for our horde of sweaty, active, thirsty boys. Good luck.4Beat up tinsAs good as the product is, well known quality, as annoying it is to have the tins beat up and half open. Packaging was perfect so it is obvious that it was damaged in some warehouse and put in the box anyway. Should gave gone with Powerade that comes in proper platic containers. How do i know this product was not tampered with....2Tastes GreatThese containers of Gatorade come in handy at our house. The lid is good and it will keep all the moisture out so you don t need to worry about your powder going bad. It actually makes a lot of Gatorade, so it is a good buy. My kids take this along with them to sporting events and they say it tastes the same as the pre-mixed Gatorades.5Gatorade in powder - space, planet and body savior !Gatorade. Not sure what can be said about this besides:- easy to make, just use the scoop provided and 32Oz bottle with water- tastes delicious, not a "100% pure juice of a rare fruit that grows only on a island in Bermuda triage that only a few locals know," but not a tap water with an aftertaste of half of periodic table either- hydrates really well. Working on a roof in 95F and full sun requires A LOT of hydration and Gatorade surely does the magic- easy to store. No need storing dozens of bottles and filling up recycling bin in a couple of days. So, all the pluses for us, Environmentally Conscious people, that don't like plastic going into oceans. All that is needed is a couple of re-usable bottles and some space under counter.5Earth Shattering Amazing ProductThis was the best purchase I've made in a long time! Much more economical and eco friendly than buying a bunch of the bottles. We've used one can to last us the WHOLE football season (3 months with practice/games 4 days a week). So to get the same quantity in bottles it would be close to $100! and 100 bottles in the recycle. It did clump up a bit in the can after the first couple months, but we just broke it back up and use it. It dissolves nicely in cold or warm water. I'll for sure be purchasing another can when basketball and flag football seasons come around.5Found a rock!Found a piece of rock in my red gatorade. Thought the other user review of finding white particulates in his drink was mistaking it for undissolved sugar until I found the small rock in mine. One of the containers came slightly damaged with some powder leaking but considering how heavy these things are to ship I'm not surprised. Still giving it 5 stars because i'm drinking it anyways and there's no other option if you need to make large quantities of Gatorade and its less wasteful than buying everyone plastic bottles of this stuff.5Organic Gatorade reviewI bought this when it was on sale so for the discounted price I paid I feel that it was a good purchase price wise. I drink a lot of Gatorade and wanted to try something with less chemicals. This product does manage that but the taste isn't the same as regular Gatorade. The mango flavor is ok but somewhat watered down. You do get a lot of powder in the tub but the container I received arrived damaged. There were no holes but it certainly had been handled roughly. The flavors of the organic Gatorade are limited and not as good as the regular version. Though I like the idea of fewer chemicals I'm not sure that I would purchase again.3Morning pickupI've tried all three flavors and like them!I was feeling guilty for using so many plastic bottles for Gatorade and juice lately.This is an excellent alternative.I do recommend letting it sit/stir for a minute or two as the sugar settles to the bottom.Not too sweet, not too sour, just what I need to drink more water.5Reduce and ReuseFamily that drinks Gatorade in the summer and during sports season. Basically all year round. I was so tired of buying cases of single serve bottles or the large bottles that were just as hard to store in pantry and the refrigerator. Would buy the powder when I could find it in the store, but it usually only came in the yellow color....which no one likes. Bought this 3 pack of powder and calculated that I'm saving approx 0.65 cents per 32 oz. Now one scoop per 32 oz of water and we are good to go. I just reuse the 32oz Gatorade bottles that I saved. Even though we recycled the plastic bottles in the past who knows if they aren't just being dumped in a landfill. Very pleased with product and price. Will buy again!5No damage, taste great, good price!I was worried about them being broken like some reviews posted so I wanted to let you know that they came well packaged with no damage whatsoever. The product is great alot cheaper than buying bottles at the store and taste the same.5
