I waited a little while to write a review for ...I waited a little while to write a review for this one because I wanted to see how it held up after being washed. Normally when I've bought these types of towels before, especially on Amazon, they get really rough and wore down after even just the first wash. I used one, washed it and compared it to the unused one and I honestly couldn't tell a difference. These are every bit worth the money. I'll be repurchasing if I ever lose these. Thanks!5Flexible + Easy-to-use out of the box with 2 inserts!!I have been looking for a long time for something exactly like this. Between weight lifting sessions, I often find that I need to either use hot or cold compresses to help my muscles recover. I ordered these, and right out of the box, I was impressed. The band that the inserts slide in to is well made and durable - it looks like it is going to last a long time. It's SO EASY to slide the inserts in as well, and they are secured so they aren't going to slide out if you need to move around or adjust the band at all. The fact that there are 2 inserts, is so helpful. Waiting for a pack to cool again or heat up again when you are trying to use them at the end of an already long day is frustrating - and now I can be ready to go with the second one as I'm taking the first one out. Honestly, if you are in the market for a product like this, I highly recommend this brand and this specific product!!5Comfortable & ConvienientVery pleased with the overall quality of these gel packs! The package comes with two packs (both work for hot & cold therapy), which is especially convient since you can switch them out easily. The actual pack covers are also great quality and should protect you from skin burns as well (as an extra precaution though, you can always use the pouch that comes with the strap). I've also noticed that the packs are actually larger than they might appear in the preview image (approx. 10 inches wide), which surprised me. So far I've used them for hot therapy: I left each pack in the microwave for only a minute and it lasted me a while. I noticed my lower back pain has reduced significantly, so I plan on using these packs more frequently in the future.5great relief and comfortabilityThis has helped my back so much with a recent injury. Since there are 2 ice packs that come with it, I can just switch to the one that I'm storing in the freezer when the one I'm using gets too warm. This is really easy to put on and stays without being to restrictive or uncomfortable. The only thing is, after a few weeks of using it continually, the strap starts to get frayed from the velcro, but that is expected, so I'll be buying another strap just in case I need to use it again.5Great Versatility between cold and hotThe best thing about this product and why I am glad I got two is because these can go both in the freezer and microwave. Usually I have to have a separate ice pack that is only meant for the freezer and a separate one for heat. With this product you can either put in the freezer or in the microwave for heat. The wrap part is comfortable and doesn't cause irritation like some other product wraps. Overall, this is a wonderful product and we will continue to use this for everyday bumps and burses and pains.5Most versatilI severely sprained my left ankle after the dog ran into me by accident! After spending 3 1/2 hours in the ER to make sure nothing was broken, I was advised to use cold compresses an stay off my feet for a few days. My old gel packs are somewhere since we moved! I looked on line and saw these were exactly what I wanted! The 2 pack allows me to alternate the packs faster and I love it !!! They now have a spot in my freezer! The pouch & comfort strap allows me more freedom to use the gel packs for what I need them for!5Could be a great product with one small improvementThe cold pack stays cool for at least an hour. The only drawback to this product is the cover. The opening to insert/remove the cold pack needs to be larger, with a velcro or snap closure. I had difficulty inserting the cold pack with arthritic hands.4Very versatile and extremely comfortable Hot/Cold packs!These hold/cold packs are really wonderful to use! The temperature when using them with cold ice packs with the sleeve that it comes with is perfect and it's not so cold to the point that it hurts your body from how cold it is. I think that is the major flaw of other ice packs I have paid under $5 bucks for in the past. The sleeve is very comfortable and I use these for shin splint pains and muscle spasms in my left leg, I can also use these underneath my pant leg if I want as long as the pants are loose. The Cold packs cold within like 20 minutes to which is really quick if you are in need of quick relief, and it is also nice that they include two of these packs as well, so you can switch between using hot/cold whenever you need to. I have nothing bad to say about this product and I would encourage anyone with shin splint pain to get these because they work very quickly and they are worth every penny.5Perfect for gym towel, car washing, good green solution!I bought this as a solution for going to the gym and wiping down the gym equipment, and it does not disappoint. I've also used it to dry the car after washing it. The towel is large, substantial, absorbent, and dries quickly -- and it came with a bag to boot. Perfect to carry the towel in from place to place, and keep inside in a compact package in my trunk or gym bag.Both the bag and the towel feel durable, perform well as gym towels and for washing the car, and can serve many many uses besides.For the price I paid and the quality I got, I am impressed to say the least. I may find myself buying another; these would be good to have around, and at this price, a no brainer. And the ability to order via Amazon Prime makes it easy.5Works wellProduct works well. I've been using them twice daily to ice my knees. They stay cool throughout the duration of the session (20 minutes). The spare pack is also useful since I can alternate between the two so that they're at peak coldness.I have both the original and the premium and the premium version has a thinner material between the pack and your knee, allowing for a more direct contact. My only gripe with the premium model is that it's a bit difficult to insert the pack into the small elastic opening. Overall though, I think the premium is worth the $2 upgrade since the quality feels better and I like having a more direct contact with the ice pack.5
