Hair has improvedAs you can see it's a tiny bottle. Scent is discouraging... But the good stuff never spells great. I use it with other oils like jojoba and flax for my hair. The middle of my hair started to thin out, because of over processing and excessive heat. Oils are now the only thing I treat my hair with. I can say I've seen improvement, and I will continue to massage my scalp with it.4Very nice!This is a great oil. Smells how I would expect oil from a cedar tree to smell. I diffuse this with vetiver and orange for calming my daughter who has hyperactivity and sensory issues. I'm looking forward to experimenting with this oil more.PLEASE be sure to do your research on how to dilute your oils before applying topically, especially on children.I love Plant Therapy! All of the oils I've gotten from them have been great and you really can't beat their prices when comparing to other companies with quality essential oils.5This can also be used in Humidifiers and diffusers for aromatherapy. This is a great therapy oil! It arrived in a day1\2. I was eager to try it cause cold weather irritates my asthma and Bronchitis. So I was having a bit of trouble with sleeping; just hard to breath without concentrating or slow deep breathes. So when this arrived I immediately followed the instructions to dilute and rub on my upper chest. Within 10mins my sinuses cleared and my chest opened up to easy flowing breathes. 2 nights in a row of sleeping like a baby, even with the crazy winds dropping the temp in Sunny SoCal. 5Cedarwood Himalayan - Into the Trash it GoesThis smells so nasty, i don't even know how to explain it. It smells like a concoction of multiple oils with a vaguely woody scent buried underneath. I thought maybe it was too concentrated and diluted it with distilled water - same results. It has a chemical/alcohol smell. Like bottom-shelf whiskey. I still have a headache from smelling it. When I ordered this, I also got the cedarwood oil from NOW Foods as a backup and I'm glad I did. Doesn t fill the room. We have 6 that do different things. Including the Aria from young living. That stays down stairs. Point is for all you read about cats and oils it comes down to not saturating the room and keeping its distance. Let your animal smell it. They ll leave if they don t like it. Cedarwood is ok for cats. I read it repels fleas but I still wouldn t put it directly on. I use mostly young living but have many Plant Therapy oils too. This one will be a keeper! The face wash that I made, with a few drops of the cedarwood in it, works just as good as the Clinique, and it's a lot cheaper.I've bought countless oils from Plant Therapy, through Amazon, and from their company website, and I LOVE them. Great price, fantastic quality. Don't hesitate to purchase from this company.5It doesn't quite smell like Cedarwood.I used this oil in a blend for a flea repellant for my cat. For me, this brand feels heavy in vibration.4It's okay. Sorry, but it starts off so strong, urine like, finally, in the dry down it starts smelling only faintly of cedar wood. I guess it needs some geranium or rose added to push it closer to the cedar you smell when you open a log or burn some old cedar. People, make some! 3Legit! I only use Plant Therapy Essential Oils because i know its the real deal. Ive tried many other oil on amazon and they are filled with carrier oils, or who knows what else because the smell is way off or the therapeutic benefits are not there. Plant Therapy is an amazing company and trust using their products in my bath and body business. Will be a return customer for life! 5potency of smell is considerably weaker than past batchesThe smell potency is weaker than in the past. If I had to put a number on it, i'd say 50% less aromatic than the very same Cedrus Deodara oil from the same company, 5 years previous. A local botanic garden has a genuine Cedrus deodara from which sap can be found. The smell from the sap is stronger than this newly purchased oil and I would expect a purified oil to smell stronger than raw sap as the previous purchase of their Cedarwood oil demonstrated. Other essential oils from plant therapy seemed to have become weaker. Specifically the frankincense. I have an older bottle of Frontier frankincense and a sample of frankincense resin. The two are very similar, with the oil being a more intense aroma. The Plant Therapy frankincense smells weaker and far less base wood notes that make the oil so attractive. This has convinced me to change brands.3I like this essential oil quite a bitI like this essential oil quite a bit, Cedarwood is a lovely scent though I wouldn't use it in a diffuser as it would permeate it pretty good and would need to be scrubbed out afterwards. The company makes their oils therapeutic grade and it's noted as "kid safe" on the bottle, which is nice as my son can be sensitive to some oils/soaps/fragrances. I will definitely be ordering other oils from Plant Therapy!!5
