Perfect Breakfast, Especially When FrozenI love these! I get to work around 8 and I throw it in the freezer for an hour or so (shake it a few times during freezing) and at 9 I can't wait to open it! It's like having a chocolate milkshake for breakfast! Plus, because it has a slushy like consistency I can't chug it as quickly, so it lasts longer. Keeps me going and satisfied well past noon. So much better than any other protein drink I have had. All others either taste gritty and have that "protein" taste to them, or you can tell they are water based and they aren't worth the money or wasted calories. These are perfect and make getting up and going to work a little easier : )5I love special K productsI love special K products. I keep a supply of chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry protein shakes and also protein bars stocked in the pantry and my husband as well as 9 and 11 year old sons go for them regularly and take them to school and work for snacks. A healthier alternative than some of the other snacks out there. Still has a bunch of carbs, but a good amount of protein and some fiber too...and tastes great.5Great TasteGood things - Creamy, good chocolate taste, high in protein, vitamins and 20% of your fiber in each bottle, low fat. I was recommended Special K by a friend who also had the surgery and so I bought some to give it a shot. They are tasty and fill me up. I used to buy them at the grocery store but its MUCH cheaper to buy them on here in larger quantities. I even use them as meal replacements when i dont have time for breakfast or lunch. The Strawberry is probably my second favorite flavor. In my opinion Banana/Strawberry is the best. Vanilla is really sweet, almost to the point of being sticky. Chocolate just doesnt taste right, perhaps because its dark chocolate and not milk chocolate which is what I prefer more. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find Banana/strawberry in anything other than 4packs and only in stores. Even then quantity is usually limited compared to what the shelves have of the other flavors.4The date is good, the taste is goodThe date is good, the taste is good, and these rather heavy drinks are delivered right to my door. The Milk Chocolate is really good & if you love coffee, Special K makes a Chocolate Mocha one that is really, really great!5They actually work.I bought these at my local IGA to try them out and was shocked that they actually nipped my 3 pm cravings in the bud. I don't consider them a "meal replacement" but a snack and an easy grab during the afternoon. The milk chocolate flavor is pretty good but the dark chocolate flavor is really really good. However, at this time, the dark chocolate is not available in a case. I haven't tried any of the other flavors.
