It works - and it tastes really good!Follow directions to steep for 15 minutes, covered. It tastes primarily of peppermint, the fennel and ginger undertones are subtle, which I like since I wanted the benefit of fennel but not necessarily the taste. It is stronger than other non-medicinal herbal teas, and this makes a big difference in why it works when a typical peppermint tea doesn t help with my chronic stomach issues r/t Crohn s. Highly recommend! It tastes good enough that I would drink it even if I didn t have an upset stomach!5Outstanding Product for Functional DyspepsiaIf you aren't aware, this product has most of the same ingredients found in the German medication Iberogast, which has been used for over 40 years for functional dyspepsia. This product is a godsend for me, the ONLY thing that has helped my stomach with cramping, gas, and that type of issue. I cannot recommend this product more highly than to say, it saved my life when no gastroenterologist (I had seen six) nor ER visit for excrutiating pain ever did.5Okay but yogi tea betterIt's okay. Doesn't work as well as the yogi stomach ease tea which has fennel and I can really feel a difference in my gut.3Best!I love belly comfort tea, I'm on my nth box. Great for after meals, or just on it's own. It helps me digest things easier, process fats with less discomfort, and generally just makes my digestive system feel lighter. The flavor is peppermint-y, and slightly sweetly herbal. You can steep if for as long as you like, it doesn't get bitter. I like to keep the bad in to get the strongest mint effect.5I drink this every dayI drink this tea daily because it really helps my digestive problems. I have sibo and low gastric motility and the ginger makes a difference for me.5Another Tea Bites the Dust?I've been drinking this tea for ages and, until recently, have unconditionally loved it! I've loved the ginger and other flavors intensity! Favorite tea, for sure! For some reason, they've really messed it up in several ways. Now, it takes two tea bags to get close to the original intensity and flavor, if that. I'm still brewing it for a long time and use the same filtered water. Yet the tea tastes rather weak in flavor. Very discouraging! And if that wasn't enough, they've totally messed up on the tea bag tag that seals the bag's contents shut. The tags are all unattached and the bag opens up when water is poured on it, leaving the ingredients floating around in the tea. Every box I've tried recently has the same problems. To use a bag, I had to skillfully pierce a hole at the top of the bag, thread the string through it, and tie a secure knot just to dring a cup of tea! This NEVER was an issue in the past (most recent 6-pack purchased in December 2017). I've been so disappointed I've started drinking a competitor's version (Yogi brand). While it's similar to how Ginger Aid used to be, I'm not as enthusiastic as I once was for the original Ginger Aid. I really regret having to write this review as I've given Ginger Aid away as gifts to countless people in the past. No more! Sadly! Hoping they can restore Ginger Aid!3Works wonders for acid reflux sufferersThis tea really helps reduce my acid reflux. Sometimes I don t want to take a Tums to neutralize the acid. This tea really hits the spot. It doesn t work immediately but in about 30 min to and hour my acid is either not as bad or gone. I find that double bagging really helps best.5Very helpful for digestive issuesI love the Traditional Medicinals brand and can't say enough good things about the Ginger Aid. I have digestive issues and don't like to rely on medications with additional side effects. The Ginger Aid tea works well to help my stomach distress. I've used it both before a meal that I know to be particularly bothersome and after eating something that has upset my stomach. The ginger taste is strong, but that is what makes it work so well. If you are not used to ginger be aware that it is warming so if can make you sweat. This is not from the temperature of the tea but the ginger itself. I prefer this tea as is with nothing added, but it is also quite good with some milk and honey or lemon juice. I've also used several bags to make a pitcher of tea which I drink cold. I would highly recommend this particular tea to anyone with digestive issues. Although prices will vary depending on your area, I also find the prices on Amazon to be better than what I can find locally.5Our bellies love this tea!This tea works wonders on your digestion.
